Download and Compiling
The current version of the MUAN software was successfully compiled and tested using the following:
Software
- Fedora 3/4/5/6
- kernel 2.6.10 or newer until 2.6.18
- gcc 4.1.1
Hardware
- Minimum 512 Mb RAM
- Adaptec Firewire card model AFW-1430
- Sony Digital Camera model DCR-TRV70 NTSC
Download
Current Version: muan 8.3 (see requirements below!)
If you are using the hardware and software listed, the available RPM file will work fine.
Requirements
Required libraries for installing from rpm:
- libsndfile (last version tested: 1.0.17)
Required libraries for compiling:
- fltk (last version tested: 1.1.7)
- libsndfile (last version tested: 1.0.17)
- libsndfile-devel (last version tested: 1.0.17)
- libsamplerate (last version tested: 0.1.2)
- libsamplerate-devel (last version tested: 0.1.2)
- libraw1394 (last version tested: 1.3.0)
- libavc1394 (last version tested: 0.5.3)
- libdv (last version tested: 1.0.0)
- libavcodec (ffmpeg - svn download in December 2007)
- libavformat (ffmpeg - svn download in December 2007)
- libjpeg (last version tested: 6b-37)
